At IDP, we do not use our slogan “Science of Glutinous” lightly and we believe we are the only
manufacturer in Laos that commits time and resources to researching glutinous rice on an ongoing basis.

Our R&D department is continuously working to select the best rice products for our different markets; sensitivity testing to
determine the softest, most fragrant varieties; experimenting with new drying and milling techniques to get them more
adapted to our fragrant glutinous rice; and also working with farmers on improving techniques at the farm level,
specifically for our organic production.

We continuously seek to improve the efficiency of our techniques and the products themselves and offer this
as a source of useful information for the future benefit for all Lao people.
